altered provides a platform connecting customers with tailors for clothing alterations, repairs, and customizations. We do not provide tailoring services directly but facilitate the connection between customers and independent tailors.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to update your information to keep it accurate and current.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Post or transmit unauthorized commercial communications
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to access data not intended for you
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

5. Booking and Payments

When you book a service through altered, you enter into a direct agreement with the tailor. altered facilitates this transaction by:

• Processing payments securely
• Holding payment until service completion
• Providing a communication channel between you and the tailor

Prices for services are set by individual tailors. altered charges a service fee to tailors for bookings made through the platform.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are set by individual tailors and will be clearly displayed before booking. In general:

• Cancellations made 24+ hours before appointment: Full refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before appointment: Partial or no refund (tailor-dependent)
• No-shows: No refund

If you experience issues with a service, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion to initiate our resolution process.

7. Limitation of Liability

altered is not liable for the actions or services provided by tailors on our platform. We make reasonable efforts to verify tailors but do not guarantee their work quality or conduct.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, altered shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law
